Buffalo Wild Wings coming to Spokane Valley

Buffalo Wild Wings coming to Spokane Valley

You've undoubtedly seen the commercials if you've ever watched a sporting event, yet there has never been a Buffalo Wild Wings in the Spokane area. But the wait is soon to be over.

Buffalo Wild Wings confirmed to KXLY Wednesday that they intend to have a restaurant open in the Spokane Valley by the end of 2013.

“We are delighted to let you know we will be bringing our award winning wings and sauces to Spokane in the third quarter,” Leslie Bryant of Buffalo Wild Wings said in an email. “We will bring approximately 120 new jobs to the area.”

A public records request found that the company submitted a grading request permit for the land located at 14702 East Indiana Avenue, near the Spokane Valley Mall.

Buffalo Wild Wings touts 16 signature sauces – ranging from Sweet BBQ to Blazin' – and five seasonings. While waiting for the Spokane Valley branch to open, you can get more acquainted with the restaurant at the company's website.

CdA burger joint to give away bag of cash at month's end

Scrud's Gourmet Grub wants to thank its customers for all of their word-of-mouth advertising.

The 4th Street burger joint – just north of McEuen Field – will be giving out a bag of money to one lucky customer at the end of February.

“Our customers are awesome,” Scrud's owner Brett Lyman said. “Our customers are really good about getting the word out for me, so I figured I'd give a little back.”

You can enter to win the bag, which contains between $100 and $500, by liking the restaurant's Facebook page and by sharing one of the three “free money” photos - like the one above - to be eligible. Also, every burger you eat at the restaurant raises your chances of being picked.

“The contest is open to anyone,” Lyman said. “I've got people from overseas entering.”

Recipe: Beer Tiramisu

Recipe: Beer Tiramisu

There's never a bad time for recipe. Especially for one called Beer Tiramisu. I saw this being exchanged between some Spokane Twitter users and it was too good to ignore. Imagine this with a local brew such as Northern Light's Chocolate Dunkel from the university district. The recipe recommends using either coffee stout, chocolate stout or Porter beer.
