On Saturday, October 1 at the Greyhound Park in Post Falls, Idaho there will be a charity fund raiser benefitting The Rypien Foundation and The Inland Northwest Honor Flight. There will be live music from "The Polkatones" and "The Kelly Hughes Band."

For $50 a person, you get an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet, a commemorative beer stein and five drink tokens. This is a fun event and if you come dressed in a German costume you'll be eligible for some great prizes. Come on over and have some fun while at the same time benefitting two great organizations. Aspiring Actors and Actresses Needed

If you are an aspiring actor or actress then it is time to brush up on your memorization and acting skills.  The Lake City Playhouse is having auditions for the production "Sorry! Wrong Chimney."  This production is a hilarious Christmas story about a wife becoming suspicious of her husband that is moonlighting as a late night department store Santa.  The Santa burglar and his gun toting fiance and a confused policeman help make up the cast of this fun production. The production is in need of 3 men and 3 women ages 25 to 40.  Please come dressed for movement and cold readings from the script.

A Hereos Homecoming at Silverwood

To honor the men and women recently home from a year long deployment in Iraq, Silverwood is offering a fun filled day on the house.

This week, dozens of guardsmen with the Idaho National Guard returned home. When Silverwood learned of their homecoming it quickly came up with a plan to celebrate the soldier's safe return home.

On Sunday, September 25th guardsmen and women and their families will get into Silverwood for FREE! Silverwood will also host a picnic at the park for the soldiers and their families at 1 p.m.

It's back-to-school time and Pinnacle Physical Therapy is offering local students and their parents free back pack assessments during the month of September.

A heavy  back pack can put a terrible strain on a young developing spine.  A trained therapist can help protect a young person's back by evaluating the weight of their back packs and by demonstrating ways to avoid back pain during the school year.  These evaluations can help both young and older students.

An American Icon - Dedication of the Exact Replica of  the Original Philadelphia Liberty Bell

This Monday, August 29, at 3pm there will be a dedication of the exact replica of the original Philadelphia Liberty Bell taking place at the United States Federal Courthouse in Pocatello, Idaho.

Moving the Liberty Bell to the federal courthouse in Pocatello has been in the works for over 10 years.  The federal judges of Idaho, the Idaho Chapter of the Federal Bar, and the Pocatello Masonic Building Association will dedicate the Liberty Bell with a reception following the ceremony.  This event is open to the public.
