Bullets and Ink: A Man's Spin On Life

Bullets and Ink: A Man's Spin On Life

Doyle Wheeler approaches life just like he does pens; everything is possible. Throw anything his way and he will make it work for him.

The first lathe Wheeler ever received was from his father. He tinkered with it off and on, not really committing to the craft but enjoying the rhythm of turning a pen. The first ones he ever made became Christmas gifts for family and friends but he insists they weren't any good.

It's what every budding artist – excuse me, craftsman – would say of their early work.

Craftsmanship is in Wheeler's blood. His grandparents built their home in Spokane from the ground up.

Set during WWII, Christmas time, the show features four fictitious Hollywood stars who put together a string of 1940's hits and Christmas music to entertain "the boys" at the front.  Filled with great holiday music and comedy, the show is reminiscent of the USO shows.

Lollipop Lemondrop Extravaganza

Lollipop Lemondrop Extravaganza

Shopping with the kids is easier said than done at most stores, but Lollipop Lemondrop in Liberty Lake makes the process fun. The boutique is hosting Holiday Shopping Extravaganza and kids are welcome.

In addition to the consignment name brand clothing and gourmet lollipops always available to its shoppers, the store is bringing in 25 vendors to help you get your holiday shopping done in one fell swoop. Jewelry, chocolates, and clothes, the list goes on and on.

However, the best part is the kid's stuff. Bring the kids for Santa's Workshop. They can write Santa a letter and make reindeer food.
