Kootenai County Farmers' Market Opens This Weekend

Spring must be nearing, as the Kootenai County Farmers’ Market is officially opening for their 25th season this Saturday in Hayden.  The weekly Saturday events are held at the SE corner of US Highway 95 & Prairie Avenue.  The Saturday Market also has new hours this year.  They will be open from 9 am to 1:30 pm starting this Saturday and running through October.

Meals On Wheels Hosting Mother's Day Lunch On Friday

The Spokane Valley Meals on Wheels program and the Coeur d'Alene Casino are hosting a special Mother's Day Lunch this Friday at the Opportunity Presbyterian Church.  The church is located at 202 North Pines Road and the event starts at 11:30 am. 

Not only will lunch be served, but the Old Time Fiddlers will perform as well.  To RSVP

Breakfast With The Easter Bunny To Help Morgan

The Easter Bunny is hopping in a day early to help spread Easter cheer to a Rathdrum 1st grader recently diagnosed with leukemia.  Saturday's "Breakfast with the Bunny" is a fundraiser to help Morgan Haskell with medical expenses.   She was just diagnosed this month.  The breakfast is from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 23rd at John Brown Elementary in Rathdrum.  The cost is $5 per person.
