"Quilted to a Tea"

Come to the Kootenai County Fairgrounds this Friday and Saturday, June 24 and 25th and walk among 300 pieces of beautiful artwork on display at the North Idaho Quilt Show being held at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.  The doors will open from 10am to 6pm both days displaying the local talent of the NIQ and featuring quilts of artists Sally Clouse and Terry Miller.  Available for purchase will be raffle tickets for the 2011 Raffle Quilt, being described as a stunning work of art, which is a king sized quilt quilted by a group of local quilters and machine quilted by a NIQ member.&

Arts, Music, a Parade & More at Post Falls Days

The Annual Post Falls Days Festival is coming up this June.  The festival features a car show, foods and crafts, a carnival and more along the Spokane River.

The event kicks off Friday, June 3rd at Q'emlin Park with the Paradise Amusement Carnival and runs through Sunday, June 5.

The Grand Parade on Seltice Way begins Saturday at 11AM.  Several bands are booked each day playing classic rock, bluegrass and country.

Poodle Skirts, Leather Jackets, Classic Cars, Food, and Fun! That was what was happening on Friday and Saturday this past weekend in Sandpoint. There were Classic Cars as far as the eye could see and in the spirit of Lost in the 50's fun people were dressed the part. There were poodle skirst, long ponytails tied in colorful scarves, slicked back hair and leather jackets.
