Your pet - of all shapes and sizes - can come visit Santa Paws Saturday, December 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

He'll be at Northwest Seed & Pet at 7302 North Divison.

They ask for a $5 donation for the pictures, and proceeds go to the Spokane Humane Society.

Oh yeah... if you "Like" our KXLY 4 Facebook page we'll donate 25-cents in your honor to the Humane Society. So far our fans have raised over $3200!

The grand prize of Idaho’s holiday card contest goes to a Boise student. You-Jean Cho is this year's winner in the annual contest. Cho is a 5th grader at Jefferson Elementary School.

Her artwork will be featured on the State Department of Education’s holiday greeting cards - sent to schools and districts across the state.

Some local students have some mention as well. They were featured as the winners for their individual grade across Idaho. Winners ranged from Post Falls to Lewiston. Their artwork is unavailable at the moment for distribution, but a photo gallery will be available tomorrow.

Shopping with the kids is easier said than done at most stores, but Lollipop Lemondrop in Liberty Lake makes the process fun. The boutique is hosting Holiday Shopping Extravaganza and kids are welcome.
